Anonymous has supposedly released a press release explaining that they are not a “group” as the media has described but rather a gathering of citizens on the internet. I think the terminology distinction is important; a protest rally is powerful because it shows the process of unification rather than predetermined directive. This aside, perhaps in the spirit of anonymity Alex Tapanaris should have removed his name as author from the PDF before distributing it? Click through to the press release.
